Jimi Hendrix

In my youth, I played drums in a rock band and as almost every german rock band we also covered Lynyrd Skynyrds " Sweet Home Alabama, played Frank Zappas "Dirty Love" and Jimi Hendrix "All Along The Watchtower".
It was a very turbulent time, a very wild age, and rock music was the connecting element. Ahead of everyone else - Jimi Hendrix, the first black superstar! And so it's no wonder that Jimi has been the subject of several paintings by my own over the years Please find enclosed now a new portrait painting of Jimi-hope you like it!
